Do you want to know what my secret is to a clean pumpkin? It might surprise you, and you already have it.
I’ve been doing the carving and pumpkins can be so hard to carve! I do all of my by hand manually; those pumpkin carvers…yeah they don’t work….in fact the one I had BROKE! The “pumpkin guts” can be the hardest thing to remove thoroughly and while this may seem like a no-brainer this is the best tool ever.
Seriously. The BEST pumpkin tool. EVER! I use this to get all the “guts” out of my pumpkin. The key is scraping the inside of the pumpkin the scoop helps easily scoop the “guts” into a bowl. It doesn’t take very long to get it all out and honestly, it comes out much easier and faster than using your hands or a spoon.
After is a clean and clear pumpkin doing this first helps with the carving of your pumpkin so you don’t get any of the stringy stuff when you’re cutting.
